The Children’s Theatre Company of Minneapolis entertains well over a quarter-million theatergoers every year, from pre-schoolers to teenagers and their families. Its annual theater season includes a number of Children’s Theatre Company productions on two stages in Minneapolis as well as a regional tour. The Twin Cities theater company also offers theater arts training for children ages 3 through 18 as well as classes for homeschoolers.

Since its founding in 1965, The Children’s Theatre Company has become one of the top professional children’s theater companies in North America. In 2003, The Children’s Theatre Company received one of the theater world’s highest honors: a Tony® Award for regional theater.
