The latest exhibit at the Confluence Gallery at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center features work from artist Moira Villiard. Moira is a multidisciplinary artist and community organizer from the Fond du Lac Reservation who uses art to uplift underrepresented narratives and promote healing spaces. A McKnight and Bush Fellow, she has led impactful projects like Waiting for Beds and the Chief Buffalo Memorial Murals, focusing on equity, justice, and community memory.
