Cantina Laredo

We set out for a night of relaxation and fun, excited to try this place for drinks despite the mixed reviews we’d stumbled upon. However, our experience turned out to be a delightful surprise that exceeded our expectations!

From the moment we stepped through the door, the lively atmosphere enveloped us. The place was buzzing with energy, and although it was a busy evening, the staff managed to keep everything running smoothly. We were immediately greeted by a cheerful host who guided us to our table, making us feel welcomed right away.

As we settled in, the menu caught our eye with an enticing array of drink options. Our server was prompt and attentive, expertly guiding us through the specialties of the day. With each sip of our chosen cocktails, we couldn’t help but appreciate the skillful mixology that went into creating them. They were refreshing and perfectly crafted, adding to the vibrant experience of the evening.

We also decided to order some food to accompany our drinks. To our delight, it arrived quickly, and the presentation was impressive. Each dish was flavorful and elevated our dining experience.

Throughout the night, the staff was on top of everything. They kept checking in on us, refilling our drinks, and ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our time. It was such a treat to receive such attentive service in a bustling environment.

Overall, our trip was a fantastic outing filled with good vibes, delicious drinks, and satisfying food. It was a testament to how sometimes, great experiences can defy the odds, and we left the place already planning our next visit!

It was quite busy when we went and the tables were close together..however, none of that mattered too much because we had an excellent and attentive server named Roberto!! He was awesome and super friendly!
The food was tasty (my Relleno de camarones only had 4 shrimp lol..likely wont order that again) but having amazing wait staff always enhances the dining experience!
The sangria swirl was mouthwatering, defo coming for that!
Hope we have Roberto next time too!

This was a nice change of pace from the traditional Mexican restaurants. They are labeled as “Modern Mexican” on their marquee. They have a different take on the traditional food of Mexico. Very good food at not so expensive pricing. Our waiter was extremely polite and prompt. Wonderful sit down atmosphere.

We love Cantina Loredo! So many items are like scratch made and so yummy. The drink menu has many unique and creative (and delicious) items. hint: Add the chipolte wine sauce to anything, you will be glad you did!!! We really appreciate our server EFRAIN!! Who has served us Many times and does an excellent job, cares about his customers and is attentive to details. Thanks Efrain!!!!!!

Really enjoyed the salsa and the food had good flavor, but the service was lacking. I shouldn’t have to ask for a drink refill. Our server took extremely long to even come to our table after we sat down. The place wasn’t crazy busy either. If you are in any sort of rush, then don’t eat here.

The Mall of America is a fun place to visit, the food choices are rough though. Cantina Laredo seemed like one of the better options. Service was good, the menu was clearly designed by someone who knew what they were doing. But I don’t think I’ve ever had such interesting sounding options, with such a glaring lack of seasoning. Very fresh takes on Latin cuisine, but not a salt shaker or chili pepper in the kitchen. Drinks were super boring. Guacamole was nice, but as becoming obvious could use some salt, or acidity. All in all given the dining options at the mall, definitely could do worse but this place is a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lime from being solid.

I loved everything at this restaurant. The food was wonderful. The staff friendly and attentive. I ordered the traditional tacos and asked for flour tortillas instead of hard shells.

It was a great experience.

Cinco de Mayo 2024. Went here for lunch at noon and it was not busy. There were 6 of us and we were seated at a table with plenty of room. I got the traditional tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were hard shell with ground beef, lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese. The meat could use more spices and some sour cream but were quite good. We also got the chicken enchiladas which were very meaty but again they needed some more spices.
