Good food and great service. Weather was nice so we sat outside for lunch. The fajitas were very tasty. We ordered guacamole for an appetizer, and they make it fresh to order table side.
This has to be one of the better “TexMex” restaurants still available in the metro area. The food is consistently good, and the service is always top-notch, at least for the two times we were there. I actually really enjoyed the free chips and salsa as well. The only bad part about the restaurant is its location as it is not terribly centrale, but if you are shopping at the Mall of America, it is certainly a place to hit up!
Beautiful display of food, taste is just ok. The waitress was not the friendliest and borderline rude at one point. I asked for no beans when I ordered my burrito, and it came with no beans on the side, but the burrito was packed with them. I should have been more specific, I just ate it anyway. It wasn’t great. They only give a single basket of chips and salsa, and then you have to pay for additional ones. They are not a cheap place. Plenty of parking.
Easy parking, Had a ( pick two ) lunch special, I chose the quesadilla and a salad they’re both good and filling. Good Arnold Palmer made with raspberry tea.

A great place for tex-mex food.
I was visiting Minnesota for a surprise birthday trip. I went in hopeful that I’ll get some good Mexican food. I must say that Chevy’s DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Our server was friendly and gave us our menus. I was a little worried because of the price and the lack of menu that I’m used to. I ordered the house strawberry margarita and the Mix Grill Fajita. I was thinking that I was going to get a load of veggies and less meat for $35.99 and I was 100% wrong. The meat portions were great and the taste was even better. I’d say that was the best fajitas I’ve ever had. The house strawberry margarita was the amazing. It was a perfect balance. Not a lot of alcohol but not too little. The music in the background was nice and wasn’t overwhelming loud. I will most definitely recommend coming here and trying the food.
