We went in July of 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The tonkatsu pork ramen and beef udon were excellent. We also sampled a variety of tasty sushi from the conveyor belt sysytem, and also ordered the caterpillar roll which was awesome. We are so glad that we managed to save room for the Taiyaki ice cream which was amazing. The food delivery robots added to the atmosphere. We will definitely be back again. If you like sushi and other Japanese food, this is a great place to sample a variety of tasty treats.

We love visiting Kura Sushi Bar at MOA! This baby-friendly restaurant is a gem. The staff are incredibly nice and accommodating, making sure our little one feels welcome.
The food is exceptional – we enjoy everything on the menu! It’s reminiscent of our favorite sushi spots in Japan.
One suggestion: would love to see green tea machines at each table, like in Japan, for an added authentic touch.
We adore the unique ordering system via the train and screen. It’s seamless and fun!
Overall, Kura Sushi Bar is a must-visit for sushi lovers. 10/10, we’ll be back!
Wait time can be really long. Good options. I saw one gal across from us try lifting the plate and couldn’t so she touched the other plate. I wish they taught other better on how to use the plate or lift it . Go up to the check in iPad and type your information in. Sashimi’s were good. We had about 13 plates, 2 appetizers and one dessert and cost around 80$
This Kuras is sooo quiet, but the food is still excellent. This is our fifth location we have been to in the USA, and it is one of the better ones. The spider rolls, spicy avocado rolls, and soy milk donuts are my personal favorite. My husband loves the beef ojyu fried rice when they have it and the salmon golden crunchy rolls. If you want a sushi restaurant with authentic sushi (this is a Japanese based chain), this is the place.
3/5. An all-around solid “okay” Kura Revolving Sushi Bar.
Food: Sushi is okay. It’s a revolving sushi bar, don’t expect high tier sushi. The quality of the sushi is close to the sushi you get at your buffets that serve sushi. The only interesting sushi rolls are ones they make that are different from the usual sushi rolls. The quality of the ramen is not worth the price you pay. Unless you’re only craving ramen, it will do its job. You can special order other items that are not being revolved and it does get served to you in a timely manner. We got here about 2 hours before they were going to close. It seems like they were beginning to stop making rolls, so we only had 4-5 different rolls and didn’t get the chance to try the other rolls.
Employees are nice, helpful and welcoming. When you order drinks, there is a robot that will serve it to you.
Overall, this is a nice entry way to sushi for someone that is not familiar with sushi or a revolving sushi bar. I’d recommend this place if you want to try something different. It’s a good experience. For the sushi enthusiasts, look elsewhere.
Why did I deduct 2 stars? The service was absolutely horrible. Once we were seated, it took 10 minutes to get our drinks. It took another 10 minutes for somebody to visit us and explain how the conveyor and charges work. Finally, as we are ready to pay and leave, it took 15 minutes for somebody to explain what we needed to do then. This would have easily been a 5 star review if the service was better but alas it was not.
