Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bloomington – Mpls Airport Area W

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at the Holiday Express. Checking in on a Wednesday evening was a breeze, and the modern, clean rooms with comfortable beds exceeded my expectations for the price point. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including protein choices, which was a welcome change from the usual carb-heavy fare.

The hotel’s location is ideal, especially for road trippers. Trader Joe’s is right across the street, making it easy to stock up on snacks and essentials. While the parking lot might seem a bit small, I didn’t encounter any issues during my stay.

If I could rate this hotel higher than 5 stars, I would. It’s a fantastic value and a great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay, given that I’ve definitely stayed at worse hotels for a similar price point, if not way higher.

When we arrived, there was a line to check in because they only had one person at the desk. Ended up having to wait 15 minutes just to get our room keys.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. But the shower head was way too low. I am 6 feet tall and had to duck under the shower head.

Breakfast was amazing. They had tons of options to choose from and tasted great.

There are no locations nearby to get food from. You will have to travel 10 minutes out of your way to find a restaurant.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, but am disappointed to report that it is in need of some serious updates. The staff was kind and welcoming, however the carpet in the room was worn and looked dirty, the sink stopper was broken and the wall heating/air unit was very loud. On the weekend days, there was not enough room in the breakfast area for all the diners, and the staff had a hard time keeping up with all the food replenishing that was necessary. I love the location, but probably will not stay there again.

We had a king suite room. The room itself was not bad. The bed was comfortable. Shower was clean. When we went to lay down at night though, we noticed a big cobweb up on the blinds. It didn’t look like anyone had cleaned them in a long time.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly & accommodating when we had issues opening our door. Which is really the only complaint I had was the door was a little tricky to open. Other than that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable & the AC worked to keep the room nice and cool. I also enjoyed that it’s right across from a strip mall.

Convenient location, clean and rooms are fine – nothing special, just basic. The cleaning staff was amazing & the supportive staff friendly & helpful. I had a broken hair dryer, so I called the front desk to request a working one. Michael said he would send one up but “I would have to wait” & abruptly hung up. So glad I didn’t have another request or question – not to mention he was rude. After a while & no hair dryer, I go downstairs to grab a coffee, extend my stay & request a hairdryer from the front desk. A short while later a gentleman came up to replace the hairdryer. He had to grab a drill & replace the whole unit. I would stay there again if there weren’t any other rooms available elsewhere.

I enjoyed my stay there the rooms were nice and big. I really enjoyed it because the wife didn’t talk to me the whole day she was busy enjoying your amenities
