The hotel is clean and smells good through the hallways to your room. Easy access to Mall of America for convenience. I’d recommend it when you have a family. Although I did have access to the exec lounge, it is closed for Fridays and Saturdays night for the evening, but it is partly open for coffee, tea, and drinks. Breakfast was excellent also. Shout out to Ben for helping us out during check-in and check out. We will definitely come back here.

If you visit the Mall of America and need accommodations, look no further than the JW Marriott. This hotel is a 5-star wonder, with excellent people, amenities and comfort. Guests are treated with respect, the food is great, and you can access the Mall right from the hotel. It is a bit pricey, at roughly $250 per night, but the experience and value are also way up there.

Really great Marriott property! Very clean, spacious, and rooms are well-appointed. Positives: Food was good, as well as the Executive Club for elite members. One standout employee was Rajdip, who helps staff the Executive Club. He was extremely professional and service-oriented. He went out of his way to take care of us, even getting hot chocolate for my wife (even though it was not usually available). Negatives: Check-in was very slow and the line was long (7-8 persons checking in). It was complicated by a very nice, young employee, who had limited English. I work internationally and have a pretty good knack for understanding accents, etc., but communication on details of breakfast hours, etc. were a challenge. That said, it’s still a great property, and we’ll stay there again.

I was speechless, the hotel exceeded my expectations, I have had some bad experiences in other hotels, racism towards me, affected my experience, but in this hotel that is not the case, they were very kind, they helped me with my questions, and they offered me a room immediately so I would not have to wait until 4 pm, it was a nice detail, I felt welcomed at JW Marriott, I paid for them to park my car so I didn’t have to worry, and after vacating the place they gave it to me, everything was excellent, the rooms were very clean. I loved this place because it is attached to the Mall of America shopping center and is close to the food establishments on the top floor. I decided to have breakfast with my family at their restaurant. The coffee was delicious, they treated us very well, and the breakfast and drinks were excellent. They gave me a complimentary plate of waffles. They made my day. They were very kind of them. For me, being new to this, they treated me very well, answering my questions. Thank you for giving me this great experience, and I will definitely be back. I give them a well-deserved 5-star rating.

Prices were a little steep but the property was beautiful and clean. It was very convenient when traveling with children. You can easily access the mall from the second floor and if you are there to shop it’s nice to just drop off the bags instead of hauling them around the mall all day. Oddly, my favorite part was the ice machine in the gym. It made the perfect nugget ice! Ha. We will be back

Being attached to the mall was very convenient. It was great to be able to access our room quickly to take breaks and then head right back out to the mall without having to cross any busy intersections. All of the staff was exceptional! I did have problems with my key card not working multiple times but switched to mobile key card, and it worked every single time. Hotel is on the more expensive side, so it’s disappointing to get a room with a view of all the AC units on top of a roof, but the room was clean, and for the first time ever in a hotel, the water pressure in shower was EXCELLENT. If you happen to get room 702 at check-in, I’d ask for a different room because of the view. Other than that, we had a great time, and we’ll be back in the future.

Pros: perfect location for Mall of America/airport|Fairly quiet (could hear some noise in hallway)|Bed comfortable|Bathroom updated with separate tub/shower||Cons: very average room, for the price paid or points used I expected that when I walked in the room it would be “wow”. But the rooms are very ordinary, run of the mill, nothing at all luxurious. Not worth the extra $$||Furniture in the room very uncomfortable. ||For the light sensitive: lots and lots of blue light in the room, make sure you bring an eye mask. I forgot and did not get a good night sleep.||Staff indifferent. ||Summary: I would not stay here again. There are other Marriott closes to MOM that are better. Disappointing.
