Economy hotel that offers convenient location to Mall of America and MSP airport.
We booked this hotel because of the free shuttle ( limited) and it stated on Expedia that it has FREE onsite parking which is NOT true and will charge you $15 per day for a parking lot. Way overpriced for a lot.
The rooms have nice kitchettes and full size fridges in the suites. Newly renovated and has an Outback restaurant attached. The TV kept losing signal every 5-10 minutes on any channel and needs someone’s attention. Room 245.
Won’t book here again since I feel this a bait and switch scam with their parking.

We stayed at Mainstay for 3 months. Everything was great. Our room was always clean. Hanging out in the garden was great for the evenings and the breakfast on the mornings was great too. Front desk is nice and always available. We loved to stay there and if we will be in Minnesota in the future, we will definitely choose Mainstay. Special thanks to Ayaz for being the kindest front desk manager. The hotel is so close to Mall of America which is great as we were working there. They have a shuttle for the Airport and Mall but the bus stop is so close too. 5 minutes to go to Mall.

Zatan The guy at the front desk today is November 1 at 3 AM. He was nice enough to come down here and switch my role because my TV wasn’t working even though he was busy with customers at the front desk. He also was able to come down here to the room to give me a key because I left my phone in the other room he has great customer service he goes above and beyond for his customers and for that I will stay again at the main state hotel thank you guys so much

I’m giving this Mainstay a 3 because the TV didn’t work in the room even though we checked in later than we wanted to. They also need to clean the walls in room 458. I don’t know how long all of the red stuff has been on the walls but it is also in the bathroom. The tub also holds water when trying to take a shower. The services were great and they were willing to give us another room but the room was freezing when we went in after walking over from Outback Steakhouse. I turned the heat on my wife and I went outside to move the car out of the Outback parking spot to a Mainstay parking spot. We didn’t want to switch rooms because it was already after 11 and we didn’t want to go into a cold room again. Everything else like the service was great.
