I enjoyed my stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Airport. The staff, at the front desk and the shuttle drivers, were all professional and friendly. They were all excellent representatives of the hotel.||The hotel was clean, the fitness center was excellent, and Wi-Fi was fast and stable. I didn’t eat at the restaurant. My upgraded suite was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable, although some of the furnishings needed to be updated. The airport shuttle was convenient and reliable. The shuttles, one to Terminal 1 and the other to Terminal 2, both departed right on time for an early morning flight.||As other reviewers have noted, the hotel is older. According to one source, it was built more than 50 years ago, so its architecture reflects the preferences of the time. The hallways are long, and the ceilings are low, the bathroom in my upgraded suite was tiny by modern hotel standards. Would this hotel be built the same way today, no; but given these constraints, the hotel was comfortable and reasonably quiet for one so close to MSP airport.||There are lots of hotels in the same area and the Doubletree is about 2 blocks from the Mall of America–an easy 3-minute walk. In addition to be a shopping, entertainment, and dining location, the Mall is also a transit hub, so you are only a few minutes from a light-rail station and many buses to take you to sports events, museums, and other attractions in the Twin Cities.||The DoubleTree was good value and should be one of the hotels you consider staying at near MSP. I have stayed at several and would again consider this DoubleTree.

Just a great property, I stayed here several times throughout Summer 2024. Prompt shuttle to and from MSP Airport, quick and professional check in. Rooms are in good shape, clean, tasteful amenities. Pretty good food. Comfy beds! Walking distance to Mall of America.

I had an overnight stay here due to a flight cancellation with Delta(July 21 – July 22). Delta covered my stay and gave me a meal voucher. I only had to pay $50 accidental fee that was refunded back to me. ||This hotel is huge(you can literally get lost), it has pool and an onsite restaurant that serves American cuisine. The hotel is located right across the street from the Mall of America, the hotel provides a free shuttle to and from the mall and the airport. ||The restaurant did not accept my meal voucher so I had to pay for my meal and get reimbursed at the front desk. I was never offered a free cookie, I had to ask for it and they only had gluten free cookies available. ||My room was very spacious and fairly clean except for the rust in the bathroom sink and tub. ||I haven’t decided if I will return in the future.

Love this hotel!
Great location, friendly staff, great rooms, COMFY beds, and pillows.
There is a great pub on site. An outside courtyard that has shaded places to sit, bird feeders so you can watch the birds, and nice trees and flowers. A great place to sit and relax or visit with a friend.
There is a coffee bar on site with some limited snacks.
And of course, you can get the famous Doubletree warm chocolate chip cookies at the desk in the lobby!
Would highly recommend!

So it’s a very convenient location located right by the airport and literally walking distance to Mall of America . The hotel is very long and walking distance to rooms can be quite long. They do have a lounge , but since the do you don’t get the F&B benefit. The lounge is ok at best. I’d much rather have the credit , and be able to get a cooked to order breakfast. The staff is fantastic and is why I have them a 4 . Otherwise I would have likely gone lower.

I was in town for an in-hotel event. The hotel is very near the airport, and there was a shuttle to pick me up. BE SURE IT’S THE RIGHT SHUTTLE! There is a Doubletree – Bloomington which also sends a shuttle, and that is an hour drive away! You want the Doubletree Airport!||Anyway — the space is very nice. The room was comfortable and quiet. Beds and lavatories well appointed, the shower roomy and with good water temp/pressure.||I was disappointed with their room service; they offer it as an amenity, so I ordered breakfast room service the first day. I was expecting a tray and silverware, etc., but when it arrived, it came in take-out plastic boxes in a plastic bag, and I was handed a cardboard cup of coffee — just like DoorDash. So, points off for that. In-Room dining was not good.||The bar was excellent. The restaurant was fine, if over-priced with a limited menu, but that’s what one expects in hotels. There is a coffee-shop in the lobby with pastries, etc. as well.||The event rooms were clean and well lit. But the bathrooms were few and far between, which seemed strange considering their fine conference rooms. ||All-in-all, I enjoyed my 4-night stay. Room was cleaned every day promptly. No hassle check-in or check-out, and shuttle back to the airport.
