Element Bloomington Mall of America

The Element Bloomington Mall of America Hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay near the Mall of America. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere, and the rooms are spacious, well-designed, and thoughtfully equipped. One of the standout features is the filtered water faucet in the rooms—a small but incredibly convenient touch that eliminates the need for bottled water.

Breakfast was a highlight of the stay, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. Whether you prefer a light meal or something more substantial, the variety ensures a great start to the day. The hotel’s location is also a major plus, being just a short walk from the Mall of America. While my first attempt at walking around the parking structure took much longer than expected, I later discovered a more direct route through the parking building, making the walk quick and manageable.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing great service throughout my stay. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping the rooms clean and well-maintained. Overall, the Element Bloomington Mall of America Hotel delivers a wonderful experience with great amenities, excellent service, and an unbeatable location for those visiting the mall. I would definitely stay here again!

You cannot beat the location right across the street from Mall Of America and 2 restaurants across the parking lot. Plenty of parking, great pool and mini gym.

The staff were awesome the whole stay, super friendly, they did a great job. Free ice bags downstairs were perfect. The rooms were great and clean. They don’t clean everyday, but you can call the desk to have them bring clean towels, etc.

The hotel is new, clean, and well kept. You won’t be disappointed.

We stayed in the 3 room suite and it was AMAZING! Beautiful and very clean and they do personal touches with the shaping of towels. The entire staff went above and beyond. The maintenance men were trying to assist us with music and a Bluetooth and even borrowed us their personal Bluetooth for the weekend. We were able to bake Christmas cookies for an exchange right in the suite. The FREE breakfast was incredible with MANY choices – definitely something for everyone including gluten free bread. Nice convenience hotel. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Nice little gym with modern equipment. Ample breakfast bar (no restaurant or room service though). Right across the street from the MOA East parking ramp, so, it’s a short walk. My only complaint is that the pool and hot tub are fairly small, and even after waiting for a half hour at 9 pm, we still could not get into the hot tub as the max occupancy is six, and there were already seven people in it. We finally gave up. Overall a nice stay though.

I want to give this hotel 5 stars because it’s pretty decent but the walls seem paper thin compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in. You can easily hear people walking hard above you or kids running in the hall way. The first night one of the neighboring rooms had their tv so loud we can hear every word through the vent.
The Smart tv is incredibly slow and almost useless, the lighting in our room was abysmal but the beds were comfortable.

The service was great in every way and the mall of America is a twenty second walk door to door, which was our sole purpose for our stay. The pool and hot tub were pretty dirty which was surprising because the hotel is very clean and nice.

The breakfast was pretty much the same for the three mornings we were there for. We considered it to be very underwhelming while other reviews said they liked the b-fast.

Some complain about the airplane noise but we didn’t hear a single one over four days, and they flew continuously everyday.

This hotel did its purpose for us but I wish I wouldn’t just spent the extra $150 for either of the hotels adjoined to the mall of America.
The pizza joint next door is amazing. we got the margarita pizza and wings. The wings were some of the best I’ve had in my life.

If you’re more budget conscious this isn’t a bad pick

Clean and welcoming atmosphere. The best part was the sustainability efforts that the hotel has in place: filtered separate tap water in the kitchen (Studio) instead of plastic bottled water, LED lighting throughout, recycled carpet, refillable shampoo and body wash bottle pumps attached in the shower vs the tiny wasteful plastic bottles. I wish the hotel made an effort to provide silverware and real dishes for breakfast too. Coffee mugs were available at the coffee station but most just went for paper cups which are not recyclable. Breakfast and coffee were very good! Def recommend and would stay there again!

The hotel was selected by my company as I was visiting Minneapolis for a work trip.
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The hotel is so beautiful and clean. The staff was super welcoming, friendly, and helpful

The hotel is located right across from the mall of America, so you know I definitely went shopping! However, this also meant my view was a multi-level parking lot. I had not issue with this, I was there for business and this hotel was perfectly located for my type of visit.

I will definitely need to check more of these Element properties.

Couldn’t ask for better staff. They were very friendly and made sure our time at the Element was exceptional. The free breakfast was good and satisfying. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here. Right across the street from The Mall of America. No ride needed.
