Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Airport

Good overall experience. Friendly staff. Hotel could use a remodel to be more up to date or at least some things maintained as they wear down from daily use. Definitely time to step up their maintenance game and take better care of the place. Sinks and shower dripped all night and the noise from them made a good night’s sleep hard to get. No good food in walking distance other than one disappointing experience. I would pick a different hotel next time.

Rooms spacious, free breakfast is always a plus. An Elevator was not working for 3 days while I stayed there. No sign to tell guests it is out of service, long wait time for remaining elevator. Friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed for four nights at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Airport. The hotel is fine overall—nothing particularly bad, but nothing exceptional either.||One important thing to note is that the hotel was originally built in 1980, and it still feels like a hotel from that era. While it has undergone some renovations, with updated colors and carpeting, the building shows its age.||We stayed in a standard room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The bathroom was very small, and although there’s no fan, it wasn’t an issue since the shower water never got hot enough to produce steam. However, despite being on the 9th floor, the toilet required multiple flushes to clear the bowl. We also noticed two strands of hair stuck to the ceiling when we arrived, which remained there throughout our stay.||On a positive note, daily housekeeping services were provided, and the room was generally clean (apart from the hair on the ceiling). However, there were some oddities, like only one of the two beds being made one day, and another day, all but one dirty towel was removed.||The breakfast was adequate, offering eggs, potatoes, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. There’s also a kitchen for made-to-order omelets. Unfortunately, the behavior of some guests around the free food was less than ideal. Over the weekend, the bacon and sausage were moved to the kitchen, presumably to prevent guests from taking excessive amounts they wouldn’t eat. However, this didn’t stop them from overloading on other items, especially fruit, much of which ended up being discarded by staff.||On Saturday night, two events were being held in the hotel’s ballrooms. When we returned around 8:30 PM, we managed to find what seemed to be the last available parking spot in the large lot. We were lucky, as I’m not sure where we would have parked if we’d returned any later.||As I mentioned at the start, there wasn’t anything particularly “wrong” with this hotel. It was a reasonably priced option for a holiday weekend, so I can’t complain too much. However, based on this experience, we won’t be returning to this location or likely any other Embassy Suites in the future.

Our room was comped by an airline due to unavoidable events.
Embassy Suites staff ( special mention, receptionist Jack ) were excellent.
Our 2-room suite was made convenient for us – my wife was suffering a bad case of Vertigo, and staff provided a wheelchair because she was unsteady.
Our experience was exemplary.

This is hands-down the nicest Embassy Suites I’ve stayed in, and I travel almost weekly for work. The room was very clean, the service was excellent and prompt, and the restaurant was very good. The only negative was the restaurant was full at dinner and we were seated in the atrium area. Unfortunately, this limited our drink selection and I had an iced tea instead of my preferred beverage. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone staying in the area.

Great shuttle to and from the airport. Plus a free shuttle to the Mall of America. Very clean room with a nice view. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The breakfast buffet as always is great perk for staying here. The chef was awesome as was the cleaning staff.
