Definitely worth a visit if you are in the cities. Beautiful falls surrounded by a very walkable park and yummy restaurant. It’s even great to see in the winter when it’s frozen over!
My family and I went this afternoon. My daughter absolutely loved to see the waterfall. The park was nice and clean, hardly any trash. Would highly recommend going if you are looking for a relaxing time when you have kids.
It was a great time at the waterfall, very good weather and wonderful scenery. It’s not the prettiest waterfall, but wow. Was the water flowing! There was a rental bike shop that was fun, just be careful because kids will easily fall through the bicycle. We had a good time, and I would recommend it to anyone!
Went on a Saturday morning about 10am and the place was already packed. Had to park a little further down the street but it was worth the walk to the falls. Quite a majestic little fall. The unique part of the falls is how close you are to it. It still boggles the mind how easy someone could jump in the fast moving stream and end up being swept over the falls. yolo i guess.
When we visited the falls were just beginning to freeze with impressive ice features developing. Definitely worth seeing under these conditions!
Such a beautiful place! My first time here and it was a lovely park and walk. Much of the trail is shaded. Easy hike, not strenuous. We had a great time!
One of the nicest and beautiful place near Minnesota city. Ample parking 🅿️ though not free on weekdays. There is walking 🚶 trail which is easy with stairs , return time 30/45 mins. Kid enjoyed the place. Well maintained and organized park.
Went right after a freak storm blew through so the paths were full of water in some areas. Falls were very forceful and nice to look at. Walking paths at the bottom had sections where it was washed out but can go on for a few miles if you follow them all. Fast moving water given all the rain so watch your kiddos since there are really no barriers between you and the river. Nice tribute statues up top and the seafood restaurant that I tried to go support but they had no electricity… 😞 Gnats everywhere by the 1000s so wear long pants and sleeves and a hat.
