Nickelodeon was an absolutely amazing experience! The environment was vibrant and full of energy, with all kinds of roller coaster rides that were perfect for both kids and adults. The Christmas decorations were the cherry on top, adding a magical touch to the atmosphere. It truly felt like stepping into a festive wonderland. The entire experience was so fun and lively—it was a vibe from start to finish! Highly recommend for families and thrill-seekers alike!
Great for young souls! Plan accordingly, can be busy. I would recommend buying passes/wristband from their store inside Nickelodeon Universe vs. their kiosk (kiosk tends to be busy because of accessibility). ***Adults DO NOT require wristbands if chaperoning*** (based on my experience, it may change. Also depends on ride and height of child).
Also, not all rides are always open.
We had a blast. Perfect quick stop on the way to the airport. They had large lockers available for a reasonable price, right at the blue line train stop, which is attached to the Mall. They have an excellent family coaster that’s not intense at all, and the coaster is super long. They also have a fantastic themed log flume. We did the BOGO deal, so it was incredible value to spend a few hours.
The Mall of America’s amusement park is a wonderful place. It makes me wish I had children again so I could bring them. The roller coaster, log ride, Ferris wheel, and other attractions are excellent. The LEGO exhibits are truly remarkable.
We visited New Years Eve with our 5 kids. We had a great time here. There was something for everyone, including the adults. Prices weren’t too bad for tickets but of course food/snacks are more but you can come and go as you please, so you are not forced to eat/drink from the stands in the park. Unlike other theme parks you can explore freely without paying, you only have to pay if you want to ride rides, etc. Wait times were not terrible, I think the longest we waited for anything was at the Paw Patrol area for the littles, my oldest 2 and I rode 3 rides thru out the park in the time it took my wife to get in the Adventure Bay play area with our 3 littlest. There were not a lot of options for snacks when we went, It was a holiday so it was not the biggest deal but majority of the snack shacks were closed when we were there and a couple of attractions were either closed for the day or for good not sure. Overall, we enjoyed our visit.
Had a great time. Rides were of varied ages. Did one family ride and then let the two younger kids share the credits which lasted a really long time. Spent $80 and rode near all the kids. Cheaper than paying per person for our 5 hour stay. Facilities were also clean. I think the best way to enjoy is with kids over 48 inches tall and younger than 12 years old (teenagers more interested in shopping than playing). Amusement park could be a half day to full day, but not necessary to plan more time than that. The climbing park and other attractions are a separate fee.
My toddler had the first ride in his life and really enjoyed it!! Marry go around, little train, trucks, blue etc.. they were all great with my toddler.
They also have cute Halloween decorations 🎃

Weekend is full of people… Too many. I recommend to visit during weekday.
The point passes can be purchased from kiosks and the gift shop. Make sure you know how much points remain on the passes. You cannot add up the points from one pass to the others.
One big plus was that there weren’t any lines during my visit, but I was there late in the evening and early in the morning, so I can’t speak to how it might be during peak hours. Still, the park was clean, colorful, and inviting, with a layout that makes it easy to navigate.
Overall, while I didn’t personally experience the rides, I’d highly recommend Nickelodeon Universe as a must-see for families with kids who enjoy thrilling rides and fun character-themed attractions. It’s definitely a place I’d return to with my daughter for a full day of excitement!
