Pretty awesome park! Will definately back! Nice outside area for kids to play in nature with tree logs. Lots of walking trails with many options of distance. Nature center is also nice with some animals and activities inside. Saw lots of animals todays.
MY GOODNESS… this nature center is FABULOUS. The inside absolutely blew my inner artist’s mind. I have never seen such a beautiful nature center.
The outside nature play area had an abundance of logs and sticks to play with and rearrange and even had a mud kitchen! Seems like the area will have a good amount of shade coverage also during the summer months!
We’ve been to quite a few nature centers and this one is our all around favorite.
Awesome nature center! My wife and I love taking our two kids to nature centers and this one was good. It had a nice kids area for playing puppet shows and cute animal statues. It also had some real animals to see (snakes, turtles, lizard and some birds). The best part for me was the murals on the wall. All the walls were really fun different nature scenes to look at too!
Loved our visit here and will absolutely be back. Exceptionally beautiful, natural trails with opportunities to see some wildlife. If you are looking for some nature without bike paths and some earth beneath your boots, I highly recommend.
The nature center itself is quite lovely. We don’t have kids but if we did, it seems like a spectacular spot to entertain, educate, and enrich your kids and get them excited about the natural world.
We had a blast the couple times we have made it this year! It’s a great way to get your kids outside… Playing with nature… Exploring… And learning .. many things to do and even kid kits to use while there! So much fun!! 🤗
There were detailed, 3D art on all the walls, nature-watching stations (including real beehives!), interactive stations of all sorts (puppet show, microscope, tables, crawl space, dress up spot, books, toddler puzzles) and live animals in enclosures (birds and reptiles, mostly). My kids (ages 1-8) all enjoyed the center, and I did too
Nice place to go for a walk and teach the kids about nature. They have the recreation center where you can use it for kids to have fun and do different activities, also you can book a birthday party here. Nice, clean and amazing…..
Choose your adventure. Well marked trails on soft mulch. You can make your trail short or long with nice views along some ponds and prairies.
