Enjoyed our time today! Brought 4 kids (ages 7-12) and there was something for everyone! Great exhibits and tons of fun activities. Went on a Friday. Wasn’t extremely busy but there were a lot of school field trips. Paid $15 for parking. $20-$30 per person. Cute gift shop and food options! You can also bring water bottles and snacks.
My family loves coming to the Science Museum of Minnesota! There are so many fun exhibits that are great to see over and over again! There are 3 floors with various exhibits, including dinosaurs, the human body, nature, sports, music, light, weather, and so many more! We also love catching the latest movie/documentary at the onmitheater! The omnitheater is a great movie experience! The curved screen and surround sound make for a great experience! I definitely recommend a visit here if you are in the area!
This museum is great. They have outstanding military specials. My teenage children really enjoyed all of the interactive displays and activities. I was a huge fan of the fossils.
Such a fun place – my inner child was squealing with delight. Really well-organized and so many hands-on activities. Absolutely worth a visit, whether or not you have kids.
An underrated museum experience both for locals and visitors! I loved how it had interesting facts! I have also loved the mummy exhibit!
Their exhibits on questionable cures throughout history were cremé de la crème. That means “cream of the cream” in a different language.
This is a great location for children. Plenty of hands-on exhibits for the little ones and lots of plaques for the adults. Best exhibits were
1. The tornado simulator
2. The Tug Boat
3. The collection of old timey “scientific” devices. One such device claimed to cure bad breath just by looking at blue light! Who knew!
There are also elevators everywhere and plenty of space between exhibits! Great for navigation.
The Minnesota Science Museum offers a rich, hands-on experience that caters to visitors of all ages. From fascinating exhibits on dinosaurs and the human body to interactive displays on physics and technology, the museum provides an engaging educational journey. The Omnitheater is a highlight, showcasing stunning films on a massive domed screen. Friendly staff, well-curated exhibits, and a scenic location along the Mississippi River make it a must-visit.
So much stuff to do and see at this place. Will keep you busy for a long time. Got to go here with my sons school and had a great time. They worked very hard to make it a great experience for the class to be at. Worth stopping here and learning so much things. Everyone had a great time and there is something for everyone.
