The Fair on 4

Mmm, to The Fair on the fourth floor of the great MOA, I journeyed. Takeout, my mission was, yet the ways of this place, strong in the Force they were.

A great hall of revelry and challenge, I found. Go-karts, swift as podracers, called to the daring. Axes flew with precision, their strikes echoing like a Jedi’s training remote finding its mark. A small arcade, humming with the energy of past battles, tested one’s reflexes, while the bar stood as a cantina of refreshment for warriors and wanderers alike.

Service, pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere, lively, a gathering of many beings in pursuit of merriment. To return? Yes, strong the pull is. Whether for a feast or the thrill of challenge, The Fair stands as a worthy destination in this temple of commerce.

Came for their holiday menu in December and their food was so good I was excited to see some of the holiday items on their regular menu now! I’ve brought friends, family and coworkers and everyone has enjoyed finding something fun to try. It really has an indoor fair feel where you can sit where you’d like and grab food at any time between the activities you want to do. Great spot for office get together or just for family fun! Bonus points for management being so integrated into the staff that you can have them as you axe instructor or server without knowing. Will definitely be returning!!

Myself and an elder decided why not go karts he just turned 71 and hasn’t driven in a while, but man did he get a thrill with the go karts. We couldn’t have asked for nicer or more patient staff, the young man who helped him in and out of his kart really went above and beyond that day to make sure my friend had a great time. The elder stated it was a “thrill” and he’d “Gladly do it again anytime”. I also had a great time and plan on bringing my kids next. Thank you again to the Staff who accommodated us this week and made an “old mans” day/year.

First time here, there are many activities to try, axe throwing, go karts, and arcade games. We did not have a reservation but planned to spend some time at the mall so we were added to the waitlist for go karts (took about 2.5 hours so plan accordingly if you don’t have a reservation). The wait time was not an issue as we understood that with a group of a dozen people, we would have to be patient.

Our group was divided into 3 groups for racing and all was fun as there is a spectator area where we watched each other race. However, on the third race a couple of people in our group walked over a minute late and were turned down to race. As a first time experience it’s upsetting that there was no accommodation offered. We all make mistakes and being our first time here we didn’t think our friends walking from one side of the room to the other, a minute too late would make a huge difference (given the time slots are for 12 minutes but the race itself is only 7 minutes long). I understand there are rules but other attractions I have been to have been more understanding than the treatment we received. Won’t be back but hope this helps others know what they’re walking into!

Also there is no one greeting you at the entrance, I think this would be a nice touch given the different activities available. It would be helpful to have some direction when you walk in.

Came here for the Winter Wounderland, not so much. Please step up the decorations. Now the meal, it was delicious. I had the Leadfoot Cubano and it was one of the better Cubanos I’ve eaten. Garlic fries were very tasty, and so was the Swanky Garlic Cheese Bread. If your in the MOA travel up to 4 and give this place a try. Plenty of games, go carts and even axe throwing to entertain the whole family.

our experience was fantastic! our instructor/server Chad was absolutely wonderful!! we had some of the seasonal drinks which were delicious! shared the nachos and steak fries, both were great! the axe throwing was so fun and Chad gave us pointers on how to improve our score! the service was fast and the staff was great! will definitely be back!!!

Came here Saturday during the day. Really wanted to like this place, but left disappointed.

The place is a bit confusing in terms of how to order. They have a bar seating area where you can order food and drinks at the bar. They also have a row of tables behind the axe throwing which is open seating but was a huge mess with stuff all over most of the tables, not being sure if people were sitting in groups or what. Then you had the kitchen you could order food from and another bar with just drinks.

We ordered drinks from the bar first and the bartender was not very friendly. My friend got a cup of water that was self-service and there was clearly mold floating in it. The drinks were good, but my boozy mini doughnut float was pretty weak considering the name and price.

We went over to the kitchen to put in an order for food and the cashier was walking away right as we were walking up and then I proceeded to stand there for 5 minutes while she looked at me from across the room but did not come back. Eventually a different person came over to ring us up and he was actually very friendly.

We then each got burgers which come with fries and OMG the amount of fries they give you is actually crazy. I’d estimate it’s like 3 large size fries all dumped in a pile and holy heck, talk about sodium city. Every bite of the food was so salty, it was hard to eat and I usually love things on the salty side. The buns were also pretty stale. We got a side of cheese curds which looked promising but just tasted like mozzarella sticks, not like state fair cheese curds.

We watched the axe throwers but noticed the axe targets seemed like they never get replaced. They were really torn up and in bad shape. Towards the end of our visit it seemed like a shift change was happening and an employee actually asked how our food was but we had been there for like an hour by that point.

We had been interested in doing the go-karts but couldn’t justify paying 60 bucks for the two of us to do it. Ended up not doing any activities due to the outrageous costs associated with them.
