Applebee’s Bar & Grill/Lyndale

Had lunch today and had the Big Cluckin’ Crispy Chicken Sandwich meal. I ordered a house salad on the side. The salad came out quickly with my iced tea with lemon and glass of water. Had asked Kristin for yellow sweetener, and she forgot it when delivering the drinks.
After my salad was done, she had walked past my table several times without picking up the dish that was set on the side of the table to be picked up.
My meal was delivered, and there was still no pickup of my salad dish. Kristin walked by quickly several times and saw my glasses were almost empty and said she would come back with fresh drinks. She stopped at multiple tables to help and helped at the bar and never came back to my table with my drinks she promised to bring out. I was thirsty to drink something to finish my meal, but the drinks never arrived. She never checked up to see how everything tasted.
I decided to just pay my bill on the table top unit and just leave.
This is not good customer service if you can’t do the job of checking in and replenishing drinks as promised. Disappointed guest.

Food was amazing, came out hot. Service was lacking. The waitress must have been a little overwhelmed. The food took a long time to come out, but it was worth it when it did. We figured out how to pay with the tablet at the table because she never came back to us with a bill. Bathroom was clean.

I typically go to Southtown for Applebees because thats my place, but I went at this one once and it was also phenomenal!!!! Staff were soooo unbelievably kind and helpful! Definitely helps that the host that sat us was fine as hell. Loll. Anyways, food came out super fast and was so delish! Service was amazing. Bathrooms were clean and sparkling. Lobby was clean. Great Applebees with even better staff!!

The food was great and really cheap with the awesome deals that they have. One of the Managers (Israel) came to check on how I was doing, and to see if everything came out how I wanted it. My server (Erica) was very attractive and super nice. Over all the, it’s a very welcoming place

I travel for work and have been to Applebees all across the country. This location is by far their best. The food was amazing and the service is even better. I was fortunate enough to be served by JD on 2 occasions and both times I was thoroughly impressed by both his professionalism and attentiveness. Frankly I’m surprised he hasn’t been poached by the steakhouses downtown. Great place, great food, great service.
