Cowboy Jack’s/Southtown

Went on a Sunday. Ample parking available around the building. Open seating concept and there was a lot of options available.

Waited around 15 minutes before someone came and took our drink order but then drinks came out quickly.

We were never offered a menu but asked if we were ready to order. Found the menu online and ordered our food. The nachos came out quick and were very good. Fresh with lids of cheese.

We also ordered the smoked brisket burger and the steak flatbread. Both came out cooked well but did not match the flavour of the nachos.

Maybe if the table had some sauces it would have helped. Had to ask for cutlery twice.

Maybe the service team was busy or short staffed but the little extra could have made for a much better experience.

Still a very unique restaurant and would say to check it out if your in the area and BBQ is a favourite of your pallet, just with lots of options in the are, you have other choices as well.

This place was just fine. It’s a bit pricey for how much food you get, but I understand it is in the mall. The food tasted fine. It wasn’t anything special. The drinks were okay. One of them came out pretty warm. Overall, it was a fine experience. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but I’d go if someone asked.

Came here for a friend’s birthday party. The party room was sizable and the service was as good as I could expect with how rowdy our crowd was. The food and drinks were great and everything we needed was available. 5 stars from me!

Stopped by here on a Sunday night fairly late – around 8 pm. It wasn’t overly busy, but it was quite loud.
The service was ok – a little slow to begin with, but the server was super friendly.
The food was just ok. We tried the nachos, which were good along with a flatbread and burger. The flatbread was ok… I wouldn’t order it again. The burger was apparently ok, too. Its quite pricey for what you get in comparison to some other places.
It definitely seemed more of a place to go and drink rather than to eat.

The nachos were ok… chicken that I paid extra for had no taste what so ever. It could have used some seasoning. The olives were a good touch. I love black olives. The waitress was amazing!!! Two thumbs up to waitress Caitlin. We had a semi-big group, and she was on top of all the orders (food, drinks, and shots) she kept it all organized and didn’t look at all flustered. It was pretty loud there so if you like a quiet get to know ya place I’d do somewhere else.

First off they seat you quick. I had a waitress named Emmy. It’s funny she’s got a name of an award cause she could get one for her service and personality. She was a hard worker to boot. The food here was great. I got a 16 oz ribeye and a salad. Everything was delicious. Enough so that I had to make a trip back to try it again. This time I got Sarah as a waitress. She is happy to recommend good choices on the menu. A great staff and great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone on Minnesota.

My husband and I enjoy Having dinner at Cowboy Jacks because their food is absolutely amazing. Everything on the menu has been great. Also with great food comes great service. Cece was amazing. Our food was brought to us in a timely manner and she always make sure we had refills
