Thursday night may not be the best night to go to Mall of America for dinner. It took a very long time for our waiter to come when he did arrive, he was great. I do not recommend the pesto pasta. It was quite dry. The noodles were to firm. The chicken was tough. I did not enjoy the meal… On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate that pasta as a 4.5 or a 5.5

My date ordered the stir fry chicken. He loved every bite of it. I tried his food and it had a wonderful flavor… The chicken in the stir fry was tender and cooked to perfection. The bloody Marys are okay, they don’t put meat or cheese or pickles in the drink. They put in a lemon wedge… And a single olive with a couple pepperoni slices. . The bloody was okay. I prefer the alcohol infused snacks in my drink just because that’s what I’m used to…

We sat at a high top by the bar and had two of the current sushi specials before a flight. Absolutely fantastic rolls! One was the margarita roll, and I believe the other was a rainbow roll, and the Pink Panther? I’m not sure. The margarita roll had little slivers of lime on top and were absolute perfection! Holy moly! I could’ve eaten 3 of them by myself! You’re given warm towels at the beginning of your meal to clean your hands. The server/bartender was super attentive and made great suggestions. Wonderful place! Great ambience! Reserve your seating online, just in case!

The only thing I didn’t like or appreciate is that they didn’t have any more booths or low tables near the bar area, and I am not was not comfortable on the high tops but they wouldn’t let us sit at a regular table if we wanted the happy hour specials.
My and my bad back struggled to get on and off the high-top tables.

Other than that, everything else was good.

January 2025. It had been a while since I had been here, and they have changed their chicken wings to flats and drumettes from their previously unsurpassable full wing with wing tips. This version still carried the same quality of their previous version, but lacked the drama of the oversized beauties of old. We also ordered a rainbow roll, which was fairly standard in quality and presentation. My “five stars” are for the wings; I’m not judging their sushi in this review.

Very busy place, lots of tourists because of location and so consequently quite noisy. Servers busy so you won’t get a lot of attention but they were great. Front desk attendant was rude, maybe an off day. Food is varied and hit or miss and a little expensive for what you get. The firecracker shrimp was delicious and cocktails were made well. Sushi was good. Chicken and pasta was bland. Pickled veg salad didn’t have any vinegar and was just water so was weird. Would still go back to try again.

Really enjoyed our meal here. The menu has a great selection of food. Had the Paloma and angry dragon martini, both were yummy drinks. The firecracker shrimp was a great starter and the Classic Sushi Platter was larger than we thought with great sushi, sashimi and nigiri.

Very nice restaurant in Mall of America.

1. It’s a touristy area so it will be busy and noisy. It’s a good idea to make a reservation.

2. The food is good. It’s presented nicely and it’s very tasty. However, you will pay a premium because of its location.

3. The service is pretty good but the wait staff is moving really quickly because it’s busy. Make sure to have all your requests before your server leaves because you may not see them again for the next 5 minutes.

4. The restaurant, including the bathrooms, was very nice and clean overall. It was a good experience. We would revisit.

We had great service and were seated in the perfect spot so some of our party could see the football game on the TVs in the bar! I also really appreciated the separate GF menu, complete with descriptions for each item is very helpful!

Highly recommend the Truffle Fries – they were perfectly crisp with a light Truffle flavor that was fabulous! (Not on the aforementioned GF menu due to a shared fryer).

The Mediterranean Chicken was a huge let-down. Char-grilled chicken was good if not a little tough, but was not enough to jazz up a very very bland cream cheese sauce. There was no spices to add to it (ex. fresh cracked black pepper, or chili oil); the dish was so bland and void of flavor beyond char-grill and cream cheese.

I’ll definitely go back for Happy Hour with some Truffle Fries!
