Amazing service! I’ve been here twice, and the service was over and beyond expectations! The servers and management/owner really set the bar high for service. The food was excellent. i loved the lemon pancakes, banana bread French toast, the frittata, and homemade biscuits with honey butter, and it’s served with greens, and the dressing is addictive. Definitely try the cinnamon rolls. The frosting is amazing 👏 🤩 😋 I also tried the espresso martini, and I would have drank several, but the price prevented me from that, but it is worth the price.
Perk Up Kitchen is a delightful local-owned breakfast spot that hits all the right notes. Everything is made in-house, and the freshness truly shines through in every bite. The food tastes fantastic, with thoughtful preparation that elevates even the simplest dishes. The service is warm and attentive, making you feel right at home. It’s just the kind of place you want to bring your family to for a relaxed meal and some great conversation over delicious food. Perfect for starting the day on the right note!
Stopped by for breakfast with a friend. We are on vacation and wanted to try somewhere new. I had the Sunday In Italy and it was Divine! My friend went with Eggs Benedict and was equally impressed with his meal. Our server Jennifer was very attentive and made sure we had everything we could need. The overall experience was amazing and I would strongly recommend to anyone who’s curious.
Before attending a matinee theatre performance at Sidekick Theater we wanted to grab lunch but needed gluten free and dairy free options. This place is not completely safe (as they serve many gluten dishes) but they do have a separate area where they prepare gluten free meals. The chicken sandwiches were great but I do think the bread was just a bit too hard. The sweet potato fries were perfect! If you do have allergies be sure to let them know and they will be happy to oblige to make your order delicious and safe.
So glad we happened about this cute little breakfast/lunch spot! Absolutely love the big windows and all the natural light. They have an impressive breakfast menu that left us wanting to try it all! The margarita Foccacia pizza was hands down my favorite followed by the cinnamon roll. We also had the breakfast poutine, eggs benedict, and the buffalo chicken wrap. Service is fast and staff is friendly. While they don’t abrupt reservations, both times we went there were tables available.
Great breakfast spot in Bloomington. We have been there twice, both on Monday mornings, it has been busy but didn’t have to wait to be seated. They have a big menu with lots of good breakfast options and a bar. Just had the cinnamon roll French toast and it was delicious. Servers have been friendly.
The perfect breakfast place with exquisitely delicious creations; we tried the Breakfast Poutine (hands down the best one I’ve tried so far) and the “Sunday in Italy”, with the side salad. Their homemade salad dressing is a must try (they also sell it packaged up in bottles to take home).
Also since the place gets packed (due to its limited seating) reservations are recommended.

2024-07-06 – arrived with my husband early, just after 7 am, I appreciate them being open that early. Space is light and bright unlike many breakfast restaurants that seem pretty dingy for some reason. We were sat quickly and the server arrived quickly. I got just a water and my husband ordered coffee, server asked if he wanted any sugar or cream and he said no. Ordered the biscuits and gravy and the breakfast skillet. No coffee came. Our food arrived and still no coffee. Finally had to ask for the coffee again. Food was ok, the biscuits are a heavier biscuit, not bad but not the type of biscuit I personally enjoy with biscuits and gravy. I prefer a flaky biscuit. They could definitely cut back on the potatoes, there were a lot. I’d like a bit more gravy, it’s super good, has a bit of a spicy kick but not really hot. Tastes great on the potatoes. Will definitely be eating here again.
