I had a nice experience here. I came for some baked goods and they had a very nice variety! I got a macadamia nut cookie. It was very affordable! The service its self was okay. The employee asking me if I wanted my change when all I did was walk in and buy a cookie. It was odd because the change wasn’t just a few pennies and I wasn’t dining in or anything. Other than that it was pretty good!
Got off the plane and this is the first place we visited. Overall we were satisfied. Got some Lefse bread stuffed with eggs and sausage. It was ok. Service was a little slow, but our server was friendly. My biggest regret was not getting the scone I saw at the bakery. By the end of our breakfast someone already bought them up. Bummer summer bro.
Lots of variety for Scandinavian food and the lefse was good! Restaurant is tucked into corner of grocery store, but much bigger space than one might think. Service was inattentive, cordial at best, which made for a longer meal even as a single diner. Location is just 3 minutes off highway, nice and convenient.
Classic diner atmosphere with standard diner fare and fun Scandinavian food options at reasonable pricing. Food was good and filling. Inside the grocery store immediately to the right. Free Wi-Fi with password on signage.
We can’t believe we didn’t come here sooner. The food is soooo good, and generous portions for a super reasonable price. I got the Grecian omelette—gyro meat with spinach, tomato, and feta cheese with tzatziki sauce on the side—it is the most amazing omelette I have ever had!! i swapped out the side of toast for lefse and it was also delicious. My daughter tried the tres leches French toast and son had the breakfast burger (both limited specials), and they both also loved their food. Our server was nice and knowledgeable and the restaurant clean and convenient. We highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch!!
The food was a bit bland and plain. We were excited to try it but we were disappointed in the taste of the food. We had two different meals – one had eggs stuffed inside lefse and the other had lefse on the side. It felt like this place was just a traditional American diner with Lefse on the side. Lefse from family will always be better.
I ordered bakery goods and two drinks to take out. Pumpkin chai pie and pumpkin spice latte were perfect for the cold weather! My kid love their pumpkin bar, and I really enjoyed peacan bar. They are pretty sweet, so I recommend having them with a coffee with no cream& no sugar 😌☕️
The cake is airy and pleasant not sweet. Being unfamiliar with Scandinavian torte, I was unsure if it was meant to be dry. However, this torte was too dry for my liking; nevertheless, it would have been perfect with a moister texture. It features a delightful combination of chocolate and banana, complemented by a frosting that isn’t excessively sweet.
