Food was delicious our chef was entertaining and humorous and our server was spot on. Never a bad time and we come a few times a year. It’s my daughter’s fav!

We had Dae (Day) as our server tonight. he did a fantastic job. He made sure to get what we need and we didn’t have to ask, unfortunately the atmosphere was not as great because we got crammed in with another group making it hard to move and put plates somewhere but overall I enjoy my time here and would recommend

Benihana: McKenna’s Magic

So, I stroll into Benihana, clueless about what I’m getting myself into, and then comes McKenna with a smile that says, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this.” I tell her, “I’m not picky, never been here, so I’m putting my fate in your hands.” And folks, let me tell you, those hands are basically magic.

McKenna didn’t just toss me a menu—she took charge like a boss and suggested the Benihana Trio, paired with the Chili Shrimp Sushi Roll. Now, let me tell you, this combo was the food equivalent of a mic drop. The steak, chicken, and shrimp were all cooked to perfection, and that sushi roll? Absolute fire. I’m talking the kind of meal that makes you question every dining decision you’ve ever made.

Now, I’m not a fancy drinker, so I stuck with iced tea. McKenna didn’t bat an eye and made sure my glass was never empty. She was on it like a hawk, but never in that annoying “I’m going to refill your drink every two seconds” way. Just the right balance of attention without being overbearing—she’s got that down to an art.

But the real kicker? McKenna didn’t just serve food, she delivered an experience. She’s funny, she’s laid-back, and she made sure I had everything I needed without hovering like a helicopter parent. She’s like that cool friend who knows all the best spots and actually cares if you’re having a good time.

Long story short: If you’re hitting up Benihana, do yourself a favor and ask for McKenna. She’s the real MVP. She’ll hook you up with a killer meal, keep your tea flowing, and toss in some laughs for good measure. I’m already planning my next trip back, and you can bet I’ll be asking for her by name.

4 stars because they charge an extra 20% on your tab, we wouldn’t have eaten there knowing this, but we didn’t see the tiny 12×12 sign when we entered the restaurant. After doing some research once we left, I learned only a small sliver of that goes to the waiter/waitress. Having close friends in the food industry and learning what they go through, this is garbage because it makes people not want to tip, thus screwing the waitstaff while the company bank rolls. For that reason alone, we’ll never eat there again.

Having said that… We enjoyed sitting outside of the restaurant on the “patio”. The food was DELICIOUS, the drinks were GREAT and our server, McKenna was even better. Five stars to her for being such an attentive server!

We love coming to Beni’s for lunch. Our server Kristine knows us and always greets us so welcoming. She is professional and personable! Food was on point and just what we were craving!

As always the food was amazing! Chicken fried rice, steak and shrimp, the soup!! No complaints on food or the cook. I do have to say that the service was typical as well which I do not understand. Your servicer is great until your order is placed. Once your drinks and food are ordered you no longer have a server. My drink never came, our cook stopped cooking to figure out why we didn’t have silverware, where my drink was and to get someone to clear our table so he could serve our meal. Maybe just a floater to clear tables would make a world of difference. I am sure we will be back and I am sure it will be the same. Great food, great atmosphere and great service until the order is placed

Our chef Miguel was amazing! He made our experience very enjoyable and fun! The food was amazing as well as the service! 10/10 I would recommend and come again!

Love the MOA location – very spacious, you don’t feel cramped. Miguel was a great chef – his rice man with a broken knee was hilarious.
